Andrew Parker
Horn
Andrew Parker is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Industry, and is an active freelance musician in the Shenandoah Valley and Hampton Roads area. He regularly makes appearances with the Charlottesville Symphony, Waynesboro Symphony, and Symphonicity. He is also a major contributor to the concert band music scene here in Virginia, having served as assistant principal and 3rd horn for Tidewater Winds, Chesapeake Bay Wind Ensemble, and he is currently principal horn for the Valley Wind Ensemble. Outside of the concert hall, Andrew is an avid outdoorsman that enjoys camping, fishing, kayaking and spending almost all of his free time with his fiancé Lauren and his dog Maverick.
