Hannah Shaw

Violist Hannah Shaw is a member of the London-based Eusebius Quartet and has recently appeared at such festivals as Open Chamber Music at Prussia Cove, Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival, Festival de Musique de Chambre à Giverny. As a Baroque violist, Hannah performs with Arcangelo and the Irish Baroque Orchestra. She also frequently performs very new music with the Amsterdam-based Asko|Schönberg Ensemble, and has worked with composers and conductors as Reinbert de Leeuw, Kaija Saariaho, Caroline Shaw, Huang Ruo, Peter Eötvös, Heinz Holliger, Louis Andriessen, Sofia Gubaidulina, and Elliott Carter. Hannah has served as guest leader with BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, The Hague Philharmonic, and Arnhem Philharmonic. Hannah received her Bachelor of Music degree with honors from the Oberlin Conservatory and a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School.
