Kristin Olson, oboe, enjoys a varied career involving both modern and historical performance, teaching, and producing. She has performed as a soloist with ensembles and festivals across North America, is on faculty at Wingate University in North Carolina, and is the Executive and Artistic Director of 7th Street Concerts in Charlotte. Recent period oboe solo appearances have been with Bach Akademie Charlotte, the Salem Bach Festival, Bach Society Houston, Ars Lyrica, and more. On modern oboe, she enjoys performing and premiering contemporary music and can be heard on the Listen/Space albums.
