Mari Lee is an artist dedicated to creating human connection through music. A violinist, creative, and entrepreneur, her works explore the relationship between audiences, performers, and composers.
Praised as “extremely impressive” by the Strad Magazine, Mari has performed as a violinist at such prestigious venues as the Wigmore Hall, Philharmonie Berlin, Licoln Center, and Carnegie Hall, as well as renowned festivals including Ravinia, Verbier, and Marlboro. Mari is the CEO and Artistic Director of Salon Séance, a company that creates and produces experiential concerts based on the concept that performing is an act of channeling. Salon Séance has won Tarisio’s Young Artists Grants and the Britten-Pears Foundation’s Britten Award, and has been presented by Yellow Barn Festival, Schubert Club, and The Crypt Sessions, among others. Mari plays on an 1863 instrument by Jean-Baptiste Villaume.
