Sarah Schilling (DM) is in demand as a period woodwind player (oboes, recorders, Renaissance winds) and performance practice specialist. Ensembles include Washington Bach Consort, Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, Three Notch'd Road, Raleigh Camerata, and Spire Chamber Orchestra. A founding member of Forgotten Clefs, Sarah can be heard playing shawm, recorder, and dulcian on that ensemble’s premiere recording, A Musical Banquet: Feast of the Nativity. As a Public Media professional, Sarah works as Music Administrator for VPM (Virginia’s Home for Public Media). Sarah was Host/Producer of VPM’s podcast Making Menuhin and has authored over 80 scripts for Harmonia Early Music, a nationally syndicated radio program from WFIU-Bloomington and Early Music America. Sarah regularly collaborates with Agecroft Hall & Gardens and Virginia Museum of History and Culture for music and history-related programming. Sarah holds degrees from the New England Conservatory and Indiana University.
