Choral Director, organist and collaborative pianist Virginia Bolena has served as Organist and Director of Music at Trinity Episcopal Church since 2013. During her tenure, Virginia has significantly grown the chorister program, directed the choirs during two UK cathedral residencies, and organized a regular concert series. Upcoming engagements include a performance on the L’Organo series (Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC) and an organ concert featuring all female composers on the ArtsLIVE! Festival in Fredericksburg. She has performed for the American Institute of Organbuilders and American Pipe Organ Builders Association. Past recital venues include Saint Thomas Church, NYC; Oxford Town Hall, UK; and Interlochen Center for the Arts. A dedicated member of the organ community, Virginia serves on the board of the local American Guild of Organists chapter. She has participated in the Virginia Baroque Academy and plans to attend the Noordbroek Organ Academy (NL) later this year.
