Vienna is famous for its cafés and​, of course, ​i​ts music. In the 19th century a culture blossomed around evenings of intimate chamber music among friends, in comfortable public and private surroundings, all enlivened by sumptuous food and drink.

SMF recreates that atmosphere in the historic American Hotel​. First, enjoy a one-hour concert ​at the Graf fortepiano featuring four-hand works and chamber music by Schubert (with perhaps a touch of Schumann) performed ​by Carsten Schmidt and special guests​. Afterward partake of an elegant and classic Vienn​a Coffee House Repast, ​featuring light food, selected wine​s, ​c​ocktails, and special coffee drinks with pastries.

The American Hotel is fully accessible and has parking on site.
