Horn, Natural Horn
As a nationally recognized natural hornist, Dr. Bradley Tatum has performed with many of the nation’s leading ensembles in period performance. He holds the position of Principal Natural Horn with the Washington Bach Consort, Bach Society of Minnesota, Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, Bach Collegium Fort Wayne and The Thirteen Choir and Orchestra. Reviewers from the Washington Post have praised his “beautiful, pure sound on the natural horn” and the Washington Classical review loved his “outstanding natural horn solo in Quoniam tu solus sanctus” in Bach’s B Minor Mass. As a modern hornist, Brad is Principal horn of Washington, D.C’s Apollo Orchestra, 2nd horn with the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and plays with many more groups throughout the D.C./Baltimore area. He holds degrees in horn performance from the University of Maryland and the Lynn Conservatory of Music and a Music Education degree from Shenandoah University.
