Martin Davids
Violin, Baroque Violin, Violino piccolo
Martin Davids came to earth to explore the wonders of Love. This has led to many adventures and two children with his wife of 25 years. When not philosophizing, he enjoys podcasting, cooking, and mixing cocktails with his collection of prohibition era cocktail shakers. He also enjoys playing the violin, especially when it can be used to make connections with other people. No one should have to play alone. His tastes include all styles of music, but he can often be found performing in Baroque ensembles as that is more or less his Mother Tongue. When not performing in Staunton, he can be heard leading Callipygian Players, Brandywine Baroque, Bach Collegium San Diego, (and many others), and on his recordings, or his podcast; Classical Happy Hour. A resident of Skokie, IL, he enjoys a traveling and performing across the U.S. and Europe.
